Introduction

Welcome to MiloMate, an AIpowered social chat app operated by Data Intelligence Technology Lab Co.,Limited("MiloMate," "we," "us," or "our"), and provided to you ("you" or "user") subject to these terms.

The MiloMate app lets you chat, interact, and engage with an AIdriven digital companion in text and voice. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the MiloMate app and any features, content, or services we provide now or in the future ("MiloMate Services"). By using the app, you agree to these terms.

We formulate this MiloMate App Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance of Hong Kong, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union, and other applicable data protection laws and regulations, in order to protect your personal information and privacy and ensure the security of your personal data.

This Policy applies to all MiloMate products and/or services. It describes the purposes, methods, scope, retention periods, and security measures related to the processing of your personal information when we provide you with MiloMate products and/or services, as well as the ways and procedures for you to exercise your legal rights.

Please note that MiloMate does not use cookies or similar technologies to track your personal information. Please carefully read this Policy together with the MiloMate App User Service Agreement, and only use MiloMate products and/or services if you agree to the terms set out herein. 1. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

We collect and use your personal information based on the principles of legality, propriety, necessity, and good faith, and strictly for the purposes described in this Policy. If we intend to use your personal information for purposes not specified in this Policy, or to collect additional personal information for specific purposes, we will inform you reasonably and obtain your consent again before such use.

1.1.1 Account Registration, Login, and Verification

 To register a MiloMate account, you must provide your email address and email verification code. Failure to provide this information will result in registration failure.

 The email address you provide will serve as your account ID and login credential.

 If you log in via a third-party account, you authorize us to access your publicly available information (such as profile picture, nickname, and other authorized information).

1.1.2 Identity Information
To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and security requirements, or to ensure account security, we may require you to provide identity information, such as your full name, email address, phone number, or government-issued identification (if necessary). This information helps us verify your identity and protect your account.

1.1.3 Content Posting, Browsing, Likes, and Sharing
When posting comments, uploading text, images, audio, or videos, we may review such content for legal compliance.

1.1.4 Personalized Matching and Recommendations
We do not push or recommend advertisements based on your personal data.

1.2 Personal Information We Collect Automatically

1.2.1 Device Information
We may collect device identifiers, model, OS version, IMEI/IDFA/Android ID, MAC address, SIM card details, and other device-related data to ensure security, prevent fraud, and optimize your experience.

1.2.2 Log Information
We collect app crash logs, system activity, browsing records, click records, usage logs, and IP addresses for security and optimization purposes.

1.2.3 Geolocation Information
If you grant permission, we may collect geolocation data for features such as displaying location in posts, matching nearby users, and fraud prevention.

1.2.4 Consumption Records
When using third-party payment services, we collect recharge, order, and transaction data for payment verification.

1.2.5 Clipboard Information
If you use the sharing function, we may access clipboard data to copy links.

1.3 System Permissions Required by MiloMate App

We may request permissions including but not limited to:

 Photo & Storage Access: For uploading images/videos.

 Microphone Access: For voice input and transformation.

 Push Notifications: For delivering important messages.

 Camera Access: For photo/video capture.

 App List Access: For fraud prevention.

 Location Access: For location-based features.

 Device Information Access: For account protection.

 Network Access: For service provision.

1.4 Exceptions to Consent

Purpose: To provide in-app real-time chat and messaging services.

Data Processed: User identifiers, message content, device information (such as device model and operating system version), and network information.

(2) Google Credentials SDK

Partner: Google
Purpose: To enable users to sign in using their Google accounts.

Data Processed: Google account identifiers, basic profile information (such as nickname and avatar), and authentication credentials.

(3) AppsFlyer SDK

Partner: AppsFlyer
Purpose: To perform app analytics, attribution tracking, and marketing performance measurement.

Data Processed: Device identifiers (such as Advertising ID), app usage data, and installation and interaction information.

(4) Google App Update SDK

Purpose: To detect, manage, and deliver application updates.

Data Processed: Order information, purchase records, and transaction status (payment card details are processed directly by Google and are not accessed by the App).

2.3 Transfer

We will not transfer control of your personal information except with your consent, or in the event of a merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy.

You may deregister your MiloMate account via "Profile > Settings > Account & Security > Delete Account." After deletion, we will erase or anonymize your personal data unless otherwise required by law.

4. How We Store Your Personal Information

We store your personal information on secure servers and take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required by applicable laws. When the information is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it in accordance with legal requirements.

If your personal information is stored or processed outside your country or region, we will ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data.

7. Explanation Regarding Auto-start and Associated Start

7.1 For push notification delivery, the app may self-start or be awakened at certain intervals.
7.2 Content push notifications will only activate with your explicit consent.
7.3 Files downloaded within MiloMate App may trigger associated third-party apps.
